GNF
(Gunilla Nilson Fors), born in 1943 is a Swedish artist
living in a picturesque town outside Stock-holm, the capital
of Sweden.
She
is a psychologist by profession working many years with
children in schools using art as a therapeutic method.
Through GNF they opened up the artistic vein to find their
ropes in life at school. In her study and work with growing
children she learnt a lot of man’s inner life and
how it expresses itself.
GNF
has always created art within embroidery and fashion clothes
but since year 2000 she has focused on painting in oil
on canvas. This career is now in great progress. Her paintings
have been exhibited locally a few times and have drawn
big attention in media.
GNF’s
paintings depict dimensions in life. She reveals mysteries
of our unknown inner world, what is beyond the surface.
The viewer experiences naiveté and atmosphere.
The depths of the paintings make you look at them every
day without getting bored. Her paintings are breathing
positive energy.
Her
friend Harlequin may also have found a playground within
her. Perhaps it is him that inspires her to new depths
and motives when she depicts our funs and troubles in
our life. |
